I'm Embarrassed
On the page I posted yesterday I spelled vibrant wrong. I feel like such an idiot! My mom the English teacher pointed it out to me today. I wonder if anybody else in the store has noticed it!?! I hope not!! The good thing is that since my journaling is on the picture all I had to do to fix it was lightly scratch off the "E" and change it to an "A". I guess that's what I get for working on a layout at 3 a.m.

Colorful Layout

This was another one that went together so easy. I've kind of been on a roll here lately! This page was made for the 2Peas weekly Creating Garden Challenge. The challenge was to find a creative way to journal...like on a photo, die cut, etc. I've been wanting to journal on a photo for quite awhile and this picture happened to be perfect. It's a cute picture of Drew but I think when I took it I sneezed or something because I hadn't intended on there being so much blank space in the picture.

Petal-Fold Envelope Class

The pictures aren't the greatest but I think you can get the idea. The picture on the left is the front and the picture on the right is the back. This was super easy to make and I think the new LilyKate collection from BasicGrey fit the design of it so well! Plus you can't go wrong with a $5 class. You'll leave with a beautiful envelope and card, and the template used to make the envelope so you can make many more if you want. So if you would like to take this class it is on September 7 at 6 p.m. at Scrapbook Generation. To sign up just stop by the store or call us at 417-886-0440.
I also wanted to thank Amy and Marti for leaving such nice comments.

My Newest Page!!
Is it just me or is your newest page always your favorite? I love this page so much (how could I not love it with that adorable picture!!) It was so much fun to use such bright and bold colors. I have always wanted to use my wave foam stamp but just haven't had the right page for it. I think it fits perfectly on this one!Once again it's been awhile since I've updated. I'm getting so bad about that. From now on I am going to try to post once a day. I wonder how long I will actually do that!!

My Latest Page

This is my latest page. It was a fun one to work on. The idea of this layout popped in my head while I was at the store and I ran home as quick as I could to start putting it together. It was one of those layouts that just went together so easy and turned out exactly like I wanted it to. I love it when that happens!
My Birthday Party Series class is coming up soon. I'm really looking forward to it. The banner/mini album was super easy to make and the matching invitations are so cute. I'll also be giving tips on table decorations and cake ideas. (I might even bring cupcakes for everyone since it is a birthday party class!)

Scrapbook Generation DT
With all the pages pouring in from our design team, I am just amazed. What a perfect design team! Each has a different style and they all have so much talent.
Marti Blattert is one of those people you instantly like and enjoy talking to. Her "Marti" layout at the store is so cute! I love the journaling - she had her family members write about her. (I'd be afraid of what my family would say about me!! haha)
Laura Parks - For as long as we have been having the contests here, Laura has been winning. I have loved all of her pages. She is so creative! Her page using the Wild Asparagus paper is beautiful. Obviously everyone else thought the same thing...the paper sold out shortly after the page was displayed.
Amy Estes - Another frequent contest winner. It's impossible not to love all of her pages, especially the layouts with her adorable dog. Another highly creative scrapper! Her Explosion Mini-Book is so awesome...I'm definitely going to attempt to make one.
Jennifer Mattix - I love, love, love her "Just the Facts" layout. It's got a mix of funny and serious facts about herself. She's so artistic and will have you thinking outside of the box! I still remember the first page I saw of hers...Stacey and I instantly fell in love with her style.
Candy Conner - Her "Just Me" page has a circle border with brads that is so cute I'm going to have to use it on a page! Her "My Faithful Companion" layout is such a great idea for a pet page. Plus I think she's awesome and awfully nice to leave a comment on my blog!!
Jane Hunt - I don't know her as well as the other women, but judging from her Altered Coin Book I can tell I'm going to like her! The coin book is such a great idea for a gift...I think everyone in family will get one for Christmas this year!
