I've got my Fancy Pants on!!

I got an email last night from Fancy Pants Designs asking me if I would be interested in being an honorable Mention Design Team Member!!! They said that they had so many amazing entries that they decided to create a HM design team. I was so disappointed when I saw the design team toots begin on 2peas the other day. I love their product and had really hoped to be a part of their design team. This email was quite the shocker! I thought the calls and emails where over. When I saw Design Team in the subject line I just assumed it was Mom. When I realized it was Fancy Pants I started jumping on the bed and Mike had to stop me from crushing our dog!!

New Page

Here's another one of my newest pages. It was one of my Fancy Pants DT entries. I love Drew's crazy curly hair in the picture!

We've been open on Sunday's for the holiday season and I'm the one who works that day each week. Well this Sunday I thought it would be a great time to work on my Christmas gifts. Nope. I sat down when I first opened the doors for about 5 minutes and then the rush began. I didn't get to sit down again until 4:45! It was so busy. I had people rolling totes up to the register one right after the other, men getting their wives gift certificates, and people signing up for the Remember Me Club and page and card kit clubs like crazy!!!! It was such a busy day!

We've got a lot of stuff coming in this week. A huge order of cardstock should be coming in today. Eventually we are going to totally re-do the cardstock aisle with some really cool new stuff. Lots and lots of new colors/styles of Bazzill! We've also got another big order of rolling totes coming in. The green and pink ones have been very popular! I know I'm getting one for Christmas and I'm super excited!!

Anyway, I don't know if I'll have time to post again before Christmas so...Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Great Day For Me

About a month ago I entered a Daisy D's contest on aMillionMemories.com. You were asked to submit projects that consisted mainly of Daisy D's product. I immediately submitted one of my favorite layouts , titled Beautiful, using the Gypsy Harvest collection. (I love that paper!!) After I hit the submit button I got to view the gallery of all the entries. I was kicking myself and thinking why did I enter this. I saw so many beautiful layouts and was certain I didn't have a chance. Fast forward to Friday, Dec. 1, I check my email and there is a message from aMillionMemories.com. I thought it was a newsletter or some sort of mailer, until I saw the word Congratulations! I had placed 3rd place out of all those wonderful layouts. This defiantly made my day!

For all those interested and asking questions about my stitching will soon be able to purchase my templates very soon. They should arrive by the end of this week!!! I'm so excited and they look great. There are five different ones - 1. my doodle stitching, 2. arrows, brackets and photo corners, 3. borders, 4. an alphabet and number set, and 5. shapes - hearts, stars and flowers. I've got my fingers crossed and hope everyone likes them! I've got so many ideas that I could make a ton more!

When Nobody Is Looking

Drew defiantly has a sweet tooth. I laughed so hard when I saw these pictures. He basically attacked the dessert table at Thanksgiving. He wanted absolutely nothing to do with his turkey and mashed potatoes but would have eaten this whole pie if we would have let him! I can't wait to make a page with these pictures!
