Sketch Week, Day 1

Yay! It's time for Sketch Week! If you are new to Sketch Week here's a little rundown of what it is:

Each month I'll be using the free download sketch that you can find in the Scrapbook Generation online store. (On the third Tuesday of the month we introduce a bunch of new sketches both as individuals and as groups of sketches that you can download for a small price. We also offer a free sketch each month. I'll post all information for the new May downloads tomorrow.) Today you are getting an advanced look at the free sketch since it is the sketch I'm using for Sketch Week.

This month the free download is a two-page sketch.

Scrapbook Generation's Free May Sketch
*available for download on Tuesday, May 21

"Hot Chocolate Happiness"

Supplies - Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned paper: Fancy Pants Designs; Alphabet stickers: Fancy Pants Designs; Snowflake punch: Martha Stewart; Corner rounder: Fiskars; Jewels: KaiserCraft

Variation #1 - I followed the sketch almost exactly, except for the embellishments. I used snowflakes to fit the theme of my layout. I also used an add-on sketch from Sketch Support for the hot chocolate mug.

Sketch Week Giveaway

This week the winner of the giveaway will receive their choice of one of my online classes (Sketch Support, 6 x 6 Paper Pads, or Photo Arrangement Replay) or one of the sketch bundle downloads (Halloween, Fall, Christmas, Winter, Love, Spring/Easter, Birthday, or Girls/Mother's Day).

To be eligible you can leave a comment each day. If you just comment one day you have one chance, if you comment on two days you have two chances, and if you comment each day you have three chances. (If you comment twice on one day, only the first comment will be eligible for the random drawing.) After Sketch Week is over I'll post the winner of the giveaway on Monday.

  24. Why Sketch Week is better than Christmas:
    1. I don't have to clean up from it.
    2. I don't have to plan, prepare, cook, buy or wrap anything.
    3. No fruit cake.
    4. It is always a gift of crafty goodness that I will surely love.
    5. No traveling with a toddler and a baby...it comes to me right here on my computer!
    6. No weight gain.
    7. When it is over, I don't have to wait a whole year to do it all over again!
    Thanks Allison!

Happy Sketch Week is here, yippee!!

I love this layout, only you could make a simple thing like hot chocolate look awesome. How lucky for you that Drew let you take this many pictures at one time of him. Sam barely lets me get one of him.
He looks so cute and is totally enjoying his yummy drink too.

I really like the design of this 2 pager. AWESOME JOB!!
