Creating Keepsakes has decided to have the HOF winners take part in a monthly challenge. Each month we will pick a manufacturer that sent us all that fun product in our prize package. We will create a layout and challenge everyone else to do the same. It's a great way to see so many different takes on one manufacturer. This month we are using American Crafts product, which I love by the way. The always have such fun and colorful product. I also love how they have the cordinating colors on the back of each patterned paper so you don't have to spend time finding the perfect cardstock color. Be sure to go check it out and if you've got some American Crafts product, get to work and show us what you can do! (FYI: Scrapbook Generation has quite a bit of American Crafts papers right now.) Just go to the Creating Keepsakes Gallery and look under Hall of Fame Prize Box Challenge to see all of our layouts.

Hey Alison,
I love this one!
My problem is I use too many pics on my layouts...
I have no idea how you narrow yours down to just a few.

For the little paper pieces that you use, do you buy a whole sheet (or use one that is given to you) and use just a small amount and get rid of the rest or are you able to use it all up or what? (Yes, that was a run-on question)

Because on this layout alone, it looks like you have 6 different papers.

Do I need to just start saving my scraps or what?

I actually used three different patterned papers. The great thing about American Crafts papers is that it's double sided!! Love that about them.

I'm in a major habit of buying 2 sheets of patterned paper and then hardly use one sheet. I have found that I don't always use a lot of patterned paper, but I'm so afraid that if I start buying only one sheet I won't have enough...crazy I know!!

I keep all of my scraps. I have a ton!! They do come in handy though, great for cards. I also dig through my scraps every so often and start throwing out ones I know I will never use or donate them to a friend. (I've got a woman who takes a lot of my classes that loves scraps!!) Someone should get some use out of them!

I actually bought a pair of pants big enough that I could wear them backwards. Ya, you know me.

Some of them try to rhyme, but they can't rhyme like this.
