Another HOF entry layout. This was the last page I made for my entry. I had very little time left to make the deadline and this may be the fastest layout I've ever done. I like it but it's not one of my favorites. The picture is what I love most. I was taking random pictures of Drew one day and when I had my film developed I stood in shock at this picture. It was the first time I thought he looked more like a little boy than a baby.

I also thought it would be a good dose of laughter to post one of my first scrapbook pages. Don't laugh! I had no idea what my style was other than sticking anything in any empty space that I could find.

I've got one page about Drew's first New Years Eve that makes me giggle because it's got so many brads on it! It took about 30 minutes to get it into a album because the page protector kept getting hung up on the brads. I really have to keep myself from going back and redoing some of my first pages. I will admit it's kind of fun to go back and see how I started to develop my own style. It was a bumpy road at the beginning but I feel that I've definitely found my style. Okay, you can stop laughing at that page now!

i really like the top page. the blues somehow really draw you to the striking picture. i love it.

it's so hard watching your babies grow so fast, too fast!

Wow - for a first page that's pretty darn good! I think mine has floating heads, but we won't go there ;)

Um yup, have to agrre with ingunn and noel... my first page required deco scissors stickers and allthe people were individually cut out. So you see my dear this first page rocks!

When I was first graduated high school my mom would buy me and my sis scrap supplies for Christmas. It was hilarious because we both, at the time would laugh and tease her about it. It was a box complete with deco scissors and stickers. One year for Christmas I didn't have the cash flow to buy gifts so I made my sister a "scrapbook". It was horrible! So actually that would be my first. I have no idea if she even still has it!

That's a fine page for a 1st page. I'm really not seeing a big difference in style! What's out of style about it..the photo corners? I think it looks great!

I just cringe at all the "stuff" on it. I've turned into a more clean style scrapper now. The brads and ribbon and flowers all over the place! I didn't know when to stop! lol

I am with all of the above, my first layout was much worse.
what precious baby pictures...

and i can relate to the brads getting hung on the page protectors... maybe adhering a plain white cardstock to the back would be a viable solution...

Joscelyne are you trying to make me feel like an idiot!!! lol j/k! I had never even thought about that! You've gotta love those "duh" moments! Thanks so much for the great tip! :)

Yea, I have to agree with everyone else. Your first page is way better than mine were. I was all about the deco scissors and floating heads! Oh, and don't forget the snicker sneezes!
Cute baby pictures. You do have a handsome boy there.
