Eat. Sleep. Poop. Repeat.

Life in the Davis house right now is pretty exhausting! Jackson is the easiest baby during the day but at night he transforms into a fussy, crying baby. It's like he knows it's bedtime and refuses to sleep in his bassinet. I'm determined to get him to sleep in there without fussing so I've had very little sleep in the last few nights. Oh well, that's to be expected!

Drew is having a hard time adjusting to life with a baby brother. He has his moments. When he came to see us in the hospital he wouldn't even come close to Jackson. He stayed on the other side of the room and hid behind a chair. At one point Mike finally got him to come to the other side of the room but he still wanted nothing to do with Jackson.

Mike tried to have a little talk with Drew and explained that Jackson was coming home with us. It was during this father/son conversation that I got this hilarious picture. Mike seriously explaining it all to Drew and Drew doing his best to ignore him. After a few days of being around Jackson, Drew kind of warmed up. He's helped me feed him a few times and when Jackson cries he'll sing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" to him. It is so cute!

It's been a big transition to go from one kid to two but I have to say that it's a great feeling to know that your family is complete. It's so fun to say "the boys" and think about how fun it's going to be when they can run around the yard and play together. Although I'm sure we are going to have a lot of days full of "Mom, Drew hit me!" and "He did it!" arguments.

So life is great right now. Tiring, but great. I feel so lucky to have these boys!

OH I'm first! I loooooove those pictures! what a beautiful family of boys you have! I hope you are doing well. I know it was a big change for me, going from one independant, no extra clothes needing kid to having a baby with a million carry on items. Hugs to you and your boys! :)

I'm glad things are going pretty well. I'm sure the adjustment is hard on everyone! I can't imagine. Is Jackson going to look more like Mike? I still see Debbie everytime I look at Drew!

Congrats Allison! You have 2 adorable little boys! As a mom of 2 boys (4 and almost 2), I love saying "the boys" too! BUT, I have to agree, you will definitely have your days of those arguments, ours have already started, "It's mine, NO MINE!!!" Just wait! :) But, seriously it's the best, and CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Those pics were GREAT shots! After reading Drew's hesitance of getting close to Jackson, then seeing the pic with the red block to close to Jackson's head, I was glad he had finally warmed up!! Funny shot! VERY cute pics. I can't get over all that hair!
