A different kind of scrapbooking.

Page kit scrapbooking. Odd as it may seem, I actually enjoy it. It can be a little strange not using pictures or worrying about the journaling but it's still making something. And there is no doubt that I like to make stuff. :) Plus page kit scrapbooking gives me the opportunity to use products I usually wouldn't get to on my own personal pages, like flowers and girly type stuff.

In the words of Stacey, we have become a scrapbooking factory.

In less than two weeks we are packing it up and heading to CKC Tulsa. Last year by packing it up that meant me and one little suit case. This year is a whole other story. This year pack it up means over 1200 page kits, boxes and boxes of all four volumes of our sketch books, and Stacey and Mom are coming too. Last year I was only involved in teaching, this year I'm teaching and helping Stacey and Mom with our booth at the CKC Vendor Faire.

The picture is a little sneak peek of the layouts I've been making for the kits. I think I luck out and get the fun part while everyone else gets stuck with the not so fun part of cutting and packaging. I guess that's the life of working in a scrapbook factory...

I've taken about all the time I can to post this...back to the factory! :)

You weren't at CKC Louisville's Vendor Faire, were you? I'd hate to think I missed you - I love your work!

I don't know about the other "scrapbook factory" workers, but I'm tired! Your layouts are awesome, as usual! -- MOM

I have to say that I find your pages to be such a breath of fresh air! I have been using the Sketches #4 book constantly since it arrived and have ordered the previous three. I've been scrapping for years but had gotten into a rut lately. The fact that I can eliminate one step from my scrapping (the part where I sit and ponder a layout design!) has enabled me to scrap like a mad woman in the last few weeks! Thanks for putting in all the long hard hours at the Scrap Factory for us!!

Yes, I am also tired. I think we have all crossed into robot-mode! At least all employees at the "scrapbook factory" are equally crazy so even when we're exhausted, we are manage to find some humor in it!

Hi Allison,

I was just thinking that Drew is old enough for pre-k, does he attend? If so do you have a first day of school photo that you could share? I know you are busy hope to see some more l/o when you slow down at work.

Catching up on my blog reading... hope CKC went well! I briefly glimpsed the Generations booth as we were heading out. :( Been thinking about making some kits to take on the road. Maybe THEN I'd be productive!
