Sketch Support, a new session is open for enrollment

Another session of Sketch Support, my online class, is open for enrollment.

Course Start Date: November 15th
Course Fee: $30
Course Length: 5 Weeks

You can find more information about the class and can enroll by clicking here. This class does fill up fast and there is a limited number of spaces so I would recommend not waiting to enroll.

Speaking of the limited number of spaces, I really wanted to share my reasons for that since I've seen that topic mentioned a few times. I understand why that might seem kind of silly since it's online and space isn't an issue like it would be in an actual classroom.

I absolutely love teaching and I want to make sure that I am 100% available to each and every student in the class at all times. That is such an important part of the class to me. I answer every question, start discussion topics in the forums, and comment on every layout in the gallery. Even with a 100 person limit it can be very hard to keep up with. I can't even imagine how hard it would be with more than that.

I promise that in my classes if you have a question no matter how big or small I am going to take the time to give my opinion and share what works for me, research for any references, and supply that answer in a way that is easy to read and easy to understand. I want to make sure that not one question is left open with the student not finding what they are looking for. I am present in this class as much as I possibly can be.

I don't put a limit on the class for any reason other than I want to be as involved within the class as much as I can. I want to be there for the students when a question is asked or they are having trouble with something. I want that one on one feel to the class and I want the students to feel comfortable enough to ask whatever question they might have and know that they will get an answer. Plus, I like getting to know the students through the forums and the gallery on a more personal level too.

Sure, I could take unlimited students in my classes but I'm afraid it would lack some of the most important parts if I did. :)

I hope that helps to answer some of the questions and comments I've seen regarding the limit! It is done with the best intentions for everyone involved in the class. :)

Allison, will you have another session after the New Year? I am concerned that I will not be able to give it my all the entire 5 wks because of the Christmas season? I am hoping and praying that there will be another session. What are your thoughts?
Thanks
Joette

Janet, I'm so up for making cupcakes for practically any occasion! :)

Joette, as of right now it looks like I will continue to offer Sketch Support in the new year. I think it's going to be a great year round kind of class so I don't see it retiring anytime soon. :)

Dawn, glad to see you enrolled! :)
