Five.

My not-so-little-anymore baby is five today. Five. F-I-V-E.

Sigh. Five.

Is it mean of me to wish that he wasn't five just yet? Can't I have just one more year of four, of him and me chilling at home together? I just know I'm going to blink and he's going to be 18.

We've got sprinkles for birthday pancakes, a big Mickey Mouse birthday bash ready to go, and a fast go kart for him to unwrap. I have a feeling turning five is going to be exciting for Mr. Jackson!

Happy Birthday to my sweet Jackson! I wish it to be the most wonderful 5th birthday ever!

I promise to only sulk when he can't see me. Five. (Shakes head in disbelief.)

It does go so fast Allison. My 'little' girl just turned 16 and has her Homeschool Formal tomorrow. Not so little anymore.
You are right, don't blink. Oh, to do back and do it all over again.

But what a BLESSING for each and every HEALTHY year. Happy Birthday little grown-up Jackson.

I can't believe it either Allison, it went by way to fast. You are allowed to be sad when he's not looking, I do the same thing with mine. My oldest just turned 24 this week and the next one is in Driver's Ed. right now. No more blinking for us moms, sigh

Have a wonderful fun party with Jackson, he will love it. I can remember when you just had him and all that gorgeous hair and cheeks. Both your boys are so handsome!!

I must say that of all the ages my kids have been 5 ROCKS. They were like real little people at that age, I'd be fine if mine stayed that age forever.

Just and idea but for each of mine we cut our a big hand out of posterboard and everyone at their party signed it and we decorated it and hung it in their rooms. I still have them tucked away.

Happy Mother's Day too, you are a sweet and awesome mom to those two boys. Hope they spoil you with hugs and kisses!!
