This pregnancy thing is kicking my butt! The times that I usually do everything (blog posting, scrapbooking, working, etc.) is when I happen to be most tired. I'll be so glad when this part is over! I'm already showing and this part kind of sucks too. It's that part where you don't really look pregnant but instead like you've put on a few pounds. If you can't tell I'm not one of those "oh, I love being pregnant" kind of girls. I mean it's great that we are adding to our family and all but I just don't like the pregnancy part! It's the outcome that is great!

Yesterday was a day of firsts. Drew's first day at daycare and my first day back at the store. It was funny to hear his recap of the day.

I build blocks.
Kids knock over blocks.
I had good time.
Girl got book.

He even called Stacey and Mom to tell them about his day. It was so cute!

Right now he is just going once a week and I feel bad about that. He really had a good time and I know that the social interaction with other kids is good for him. It was also nice for me to have some social interaction with people over the age of 2. It was nice to have conversations that didn't revolve around Go Diego Go or what our dogs are doing.

Well, since this is about the only time of day that I don't feel like crap, I'm going to try and get some work done. Funny. I never thought I would be a morning person.

I have no idea!! :) I haven't even been to the dr. yet...having a hard time picking one! The dr. I had with Drew retired and I loved him!

i can recommend one. she is AWESOME. she wasn't my Dr. through the whole pregnancy, but she ended up delivering Emmarie! She's so loved that I don't know how easy she would be to get into, but...Tama Franklin! WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can sympathize about wanting adult conversation. Since I have no children as of yet, the only ones left to talk to all day are the animals!! I'm grateful when I get to go out and about and interact with humans!!

I can so remember how tiring it is to grow a human... Maybe your energy will return around week 12... that is so cute hearing Drew's recap of school. My ds can't wait to go to school... next year honey, next year.

just a few more weeks and you wil be back to wonder woman. I live for adult conversation! I can only take so much before my mind turns to mush. As much as I love my kids, I am so thankful that my oldest is like a little adult sometimes. congrats on your new red headed bundle to come. your classes look awesome I am wrapped up with dealing with mine, how do you handle it. the prep work alone is tough!I need to pick your brain and get some helpful hints. praying fo r a better pregnancy! oh and I hear you about the "man did you gain weight" phase. hated it!

My sister had Dr. Franklin and loved her so much that I had to take her picture with her before we left the hospital! Good call Kodi!

Thanks for the Dr. info...however I'm one of those that's not comfortable with a woman Dr. for that stuff! lol :) Just call me weird!

Ok, well...my doctor through my pregnancy was Dr. Richmond (male). I really like him too. Sweet guy. Dr. Franklin is just rare and extra special. I had heard great things about her and was ecstatic to find out she was on call when I went to deliver Em. But, if you go to an office that has a female on staff, you might get a woman to deliver, so I guess that wouldn't work either.

My OBGYN is Dr. Stamps and he is the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me in the medical world. If you are interested, I will email you my story about him. It hasn't been blog material, but he has been a HUGE blessing and has the most awesome bedside manner and patience to explain and answer each and every question that you might have. I have zero complaints about him and would highly recommend him to anyone that wants personal care and doesn't want to feel like a "quota patient" or like he is rushing off to the next patient.

Holly, which hospital is he with? I'm only allowed to have Cox Dr.s. I hope he is Cox because he sounds exactly what I'm looking for. I love those kind of Dr. that actually take the time for you and don't act like you are just a patient! Let me know!!

i got the hall of fame mag. today. i got upset with emmarie b/c the moment she decided to crawl up in my lap and wrinkle my pages is when i'm looking at your pages. dangn't. oh well, guess it makes it more special. so cool to see all of your work!

i saw one of your pages in the nov. or oct.issue of ck. i can't remember which. they said your husbands name was Steve. i thought it was Mike? am i crazy?

Kodi Logan said...

ok, i just reread the article below your page about Mike...I know his name is for sure Mike. Steve must be Lisa's husband? Made much more sense when I reread it. At first, I just assumed you wrote the text under your page submission.
