Page #1 of my "Allison's weekend of scrapbooking." I struggled with this page for so long. I just don't think I'm a 1-page girl at all! The other pages I completed this weekend were 2-page layouts and they went together with ease!

I was sitting in my scrapbook room, staring at this page and trying to decide if I wanted to add anything to it when Mike brought Drew in to give me a good night kiss. A few minutes later I went into Drew's room to tuck him in and go through our little "don't let the bed bugs bite" routine. When I was walking out the door Drew said, "Mom."
"Yes sweetie?" I said.
"The page with the bunny on it is wonderful!" he told me.
That was all I needed to know! I wasn't going to change a thing on that page. Drew loved it, so I did too! I'm loving this age where he is so honest and says some of the cutest things, even if they aren't that complimentary. My least favorite but possibly the most humorous statement would have been when he was sitting on the floor and I walked over to him and he said "Whoa Mama! You're big!!"

Awww what a sweet little one there...

have you tried 11x 8.5 layouts? I really like it... the shape seems to be the same concept as a two page 12x12. I guess for the same reason i like the 6 x 12 size too.

I absolutely love this! It turned out great! And your boy is so cute--isn't it great when they come up and tell you how much they like something you did. :) My son will do that too...and he always gets a big hug out of it. Of course, that is probably why he does that. :)

I have a pic of Emmarie with that same Easter Bunny. We didn't make it to see the one last year...she wasn't having any part of that. Hopefully she will see him this year...especially since we are going to Disney in a few months where all the characters are extremely OVERSIZED!

Thanks everyone!

Joscelyne, I have done a few 11 x 8.5 and really liked it. I think my main problem is that I usually have too much to say and too many pictures for 1-page layouts so I hardly make them. Maybe if I made more I wouldn't struggle so much! :)

Holly, I don't know...I'm so weird about having my picture taken when I'm pregnant. I only have like three pictures of myself during my pregnancy with Drew. I'm so camera shy anyway so when you add in feeling as big as a house... I'll probably take one soon though so I don't feel the need to when I'm really big! :)

I love that LO. One-pagers are tough for me too! I'm trying to get some into my HOF entry just to show that I can do them, but they're such a struggle!

Julie, I know what you mean about the HOF entry! I had to finally make myself quit using a certain product because I had used it on my first three layouts. I was afraid they would think that I couldn't work with any other products! :)
