He must want that train table pretty bad.

Because I never would have expected this drastically different reaction to Santa.

Before we left to go see Santa we explained to Drew that he had to tell Santa what he wanted so Santa knew what to bring him. Much to our surprise he hopped right in his lap and told him about the train table that we've been hearing about for months. He even told Santa what he thought Jackson might like.

I think Jackson was a little confused and was looking a little scared but he didn't make a peep. Drew got a little confused on how the Santa system works. Immediately afterwards we had this conversation...

Drew: Okay, where's my train table?

Me: Well sweetie you don't instantly get it. Santa will bring it to our house on Christmas.

Drew: Oh. (He then peeks around the counter holding the cash register.) SANTA! Hey, SANTA! You need to come to our house. Don't forget!

Me: Drew he won't forget.

Drew: Maybe we should give him directions.

Cute story! These pics ARE quite different from last year's! Glad it was a more positive experience for you (and Drew)! I can't believe how big Drew looks, by the way.

Ok - I blew it on my comment - I meant to type "Drew's comments are precious not previous" - too much holly jolly!

Allison!
That is such a good story to compare to last years! The pics you took are so adorable. To me Jackson looked a little scared and confused and not sure of what was going on! That's so cute that Drew hopped on Santa's lap and told him what he wanted for Christmas this year and he really must want the train thing really bad! I hope Santa does bring the train thing he wants this year! Hope you and your family have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Oh that conversation is adorable! My 3-year-old actually sat on Santa's lap this year too, much to my surprise. Guess they want to be reeeeeally sure they get what they want for Christmas, haha :)

Merry Christmas!

That is such a cute story! My three year-old asked Santa for a flys watter, yup...that wasn't a typo. I was busy taking pictures, but my husband heard him and didn't think to interject with any other suggestions. He told me about it afterwards over dinner! (And he doesn't get why it's a big deal that we have to go and look for a fly swatter - in wintertime. It's the ONLY thing he asked Santa for!) Now, I do have to say that the swatter thing is a direct story line from the Winnie the Pooh Christmas Movie, but still what must Santa have thought?!

Well, he got his swatter this morning. Then he looked around and said, "But where is my fish net?"

Too funny! We didn't see Santa this year, but she told us exactly what she wanted him to bring. Isn't three a great age? Check out my blog for my good news. Talk to you soon.
