Picture Day

I was surprised that Drew was so excited for picture day at school. Especially considering every day at home is picture day. I think the tie was the excitement, not the picture day.

So of course I had my own picture day photo shoot. It sounds kind of silly if you really think about it. I took pictures of him getting ready to go get pictures taken. That's the life of a scrapbooker.

It's hilarious and shocking that he loves ties so much. I became "the coolest Mom ever" when he saw that I had gotten one with guitars on it. "All the girls are gonna think I'm soooooo awesome!" he said.

And apparently they did. The first thing he said when I picked him up from school... "Mom, all the girls told me I looked like a rock star!" He was bouncing with happiness. It was adorable.

Happy Monday!

Taking pictures of getting ready for picture day. Reminds me of my son's senior prom, I have a picture of them getting their picture taken by the photographer. (he went with a group of guys and girls, so it wasn't like I was stalking him and a date) =)

I love this picture of Drew. He looks like such a big boy now. Love the tie. My son Sam also liked to dress up at this age and wear suits, ties, vests, all of it. The girls loved it and told him. This stage saddly passed and now he hardly wants to dress up.

Sam's school pictures are today and sometimes I do take pictures of the kids before leaving for school because I get the best smiles from them.I don't scrap these I sometimes frame them instead of the school ones because I like mine better, lol....

He's such a cutie patootie! (I know I tell you all the time but he is!) I am also still amazed at how he seems to mature with each set of photos you show! Seems like just yesterday he was that Little baby boy with the mass of red curls!
TFS!

I have to admit that I have always had a soft spot for little red headed boys. This may be because I had two little brothers who were red headed. One a dark copper and one was bright orange. Anyway, Drew is adorable. I have been going back through the blogs so I have seen so many of him as a toddler that this picture is almost a shock. He looks so grown up!

Too cute! I'm so glad to know that you are 'normal' as defined by scrapbookers! lol

My sil made fun of my dd and me scrapbooking one time and told us that we were obcessed. He said one day you'll scrapbook pictures of you scrapbooking. We both burst out laughing - and of course, we had already done that layout!

He is super cute! You can tell he is used to having his photo taken. He does look like a rockstar! I miss the days that my kids thought I was 'super cool'! It is a lot harder to impress 3 teenagers.

How cute! My 8 year old had picked out a plaid shirt and skull/crossbones tie set at Old Navy for picture day. Of course, we forgot about picture day until 15 minutes before it was time to the leave the house. Good thing we are quick change artists around here!
