Grandma's Boy

Every time card week rolls around at Sketch Support I love finding a way to convert the card sketch into a two-page layout. Sometimes it's hard and sometimes is super easy. Like this layout based on the card sketch we have this week.

I followed the overall design of the sketch almost exactly and I have to say I think I like the look of the design on a layout more than the card. Maybe it's because I'm more of a layout maker than a card maker.

Jackson especially liked this layout. That shouldn't be much of a surprise considering the title. It included pictures of Grandma so he loved it. Everything is Grandma, Grandma, Grandma with him. The pictures on this layout are from his birthday party where he pretty much snubbed everyone except his Grandma. It was "Grandma, come jump!", "Grandma, hold me!", "Grandma, sit here!", "Grandma......". You get the idea. If Grandma is in the room everyone else might as well be invisible.

I'm not sure if it's that he's super smart and has figured out that she will do the most spoiling or what. But I am sure that there is something about his Grandma that he just can't live without. It's cute, funny, and a joy to see not only Jackson's face light up when he sees her but to see her light up too.
