Sketch Fusion Sneak Peek

It's almost here! Sketch Fusion with Simple Stories is well on it's way to complete.

Mom and I just wrapped up the layout examples to go with the sketches in the book. We had a super short deadline since we were working with Simple Stories newest collections. Plus, there was a lot of pressure to produce layouts that both ourselves and Simple Stories could be proud of. I definitely think we accomplished that and despite a little stress and maybe a few moments of panic, we had fun in the process. I know I'm very proud of what we have put together and yesterday seeing all the layouts together was truly a satisfying and thrilling moment. I can't wait for everyone else to see it too so we put together a little sneak peek of some details on some of the layouts:

Another great thing about seeing everything together is noticing the variety within the book. We didn't really go into any of it with a set game plan. We didn't plan out the little details like getting a good range of sketches with different photo numbers, sizes, orientation, etc. We totally winged it and it worked out beautifully. You'll find sketches that have four photos to eleven photos and everything in between. There are lots of photos with 4 x 6 in both horizontal and vertical and some with many smaller accent photos. And the best part, each sketch is compatible with all the Simple Stories collections, old and new and there is a great variety of the different style of their papers used in the sketches (the vertical and horizontal 4 x 6 cards, the 3 x 4 cards, the strips, the 6 x 12 pieces, etc.)

On another subject, sketchsupport.com is no longer. Don't worry, you can still find all the posts and sketches at sketchsupport.blogspot.com. I never had any intention of closing sketchsupport.com but unfortunately, someone came in at renewal time, bought the domain name and is now asking me to pay $8,000 to get it back. I loved Sketch Support but I'm just not willing to pay that much money for it! Anyway, long story short, everything is at sketchsupport.blogspot.com. Right now, I'm working on getting all the pages that contain the sketches and information converted to the new address so please be patient with me. I hope to have them all fixed by this evening. :)

Wow! You've got me very excited about the new book--I can't wait to see it in person!

Sorry about the website--what a pain! I'm sure I speak for so many when I say thank you for moving the content and trying to keep it available for all of us.

And so glad that sketch support can still be found again. Thanks so much for taking the time to convert the files. It has been missed!
