Mr. Pouty Pants Goes to the Pumpkin Patch

This picture pretty much sums up our trip to the pumpkin patch. I've got so many pictures from the day that include this face and even a few with wide mouthed screams. And not those happy "weeeeeee" screams. I mean those "ahhhhhhhhhhhh, I don't WANT to!" screams. Terrible twos my ass! Threes are so much tougher! I still think he really had a good time. It was just the transitioning from activity to activity that was tough. He didn't want to get out of the big inflatable jumping thing to go paint pumpkins. He didn't want to quit painting pumpkins to go through the maze. He didn't want to leave the maze to go....you get the idea.

This little guy was content with whatever we did.

There was only one time that he got fussy. When were trying to take a family picture he decided to break out the frown. He's got that puckered bottom lip down to an art. I think he got that from his mama.

It's about time for Jackson to get a haircut. I just don't know how I feel about sharp objects around his wobbly head. He can support his head really well but he gets so excited that he won't sit still. But, before we make the trip to Cookie Cutters, we decided to have a little fun with his abundance of hair....

and gave him a mohawk. It was hilarious!

We had really wanted to dress him up as Elvis for Halloween since no wig was required. I looked and looked but never could find a costume in his size. I don't think I've practiced enough with my sewing machine to give it a shot so he's going to have to settle for rocker with a mohawk.

*Linda J, I completely forgot to answer your question! I'm sorry! :) I always do hand stitching, mostly because I've yet to attempt machine stitching on paper! I stitch so often that I just eyeball the spacing when I'm piercing the holes. If you are just starting, Timeless Touches has a stitching template that is a ruler with a line of holes to use as a guide for piercing evenly spaces holes.

Even with a pout on his face, Drew looks awful cute! I cracked up laughing at your "terrible twos my a**". I agree - two's really aren't so bad compared to other ages. LOL

I think the 3's are far worse than the 2's. At least they were in my house! I love that pouty face. Too Cute!
