Scrap-a-Palooza Classes

It's that time again! Scrap-a-palooza is almost here!

Registration for our mega crop on Saturday, June 26 has begun and is filling up fast. To register for this super fun event you can visit our website (here) for all the information.

Palooza is such a busy, busy day filled with big screen demos, classes, and our mega onsite store. Here is a look at the three classes I'll be teaching at the event.

"Some Things Never Change"

• In this class we're using My Mind's Eye papers and embellishments. We'll also be using Shimmerz paints to give three plain flowers a pretty new color and sparkle. Shimmerz is one of my newest "must haves".

Forever With You (what a happy thought)

• This class features My Mind's Eye papers and embellishments and Perfect Pearls. Perfect Pearls is another one of my favorite products to use lately. It's such a great way to add a metallic/shimmery touch to stamped images.

Never Enough

• Another layout using My Mind's Eye papers and embellishments. In this class you'll get to play around with another one of my favorite new things I like to use to embellish my pages with, Memory Thread. You'll see how fun and easy it is to use to add an extra finishing touch to your layouts.

Each class is $15.00 and includes instructions and a color photo of the layout. You can sign up for one (or all) of the classes by calling Scrapbook Generation at 417-886-0440.

If you can't make it to Scrap-a-Palooza you can still get a class kit. The cost is the same, $15.00, plus $2.99 shipping. *Keep in mind that the classes with Shimmerz and Perfect Pearls won't include those products since that is something I provide to use during the class.

I've had a few people ask for me to do kind of an "About Me" blog post, so if you have any questions, creative or completely random, want to know about me questions, now would be a great time to ask. :)

I'm a MME addict, if you couldn't already tell! My mom and I always fight over who gets to use which collection in our kits and classes. :)

These all look good, love each one and know it would be so fun to be there. So does your mom teach classes at this too or just you?

Lovely layouts! MME has always been my favorite company followed by Crate Paper. :)I love that new Sophie line & have been drooling over it. Good luck with the classes.

So it looks like I get to ask the first question :)
What techniques would you encourage a beginner to try? What is a technique that you love to use that you would recommend to someone that seems intimidated/hesitant to try new things?

I wish my LSS had these kind of classes!
My question:
Do you remember your very first sketch? How did you get started doing sketches?

Lovely LO's!
How many hours a day do you scrapbook?
Are you caught up in your albums?
Do you print your pictures as needed or print a bunch and work around your photo's?
cheers! Lisa

Great questions! :)

Dawn, I almost skipped your question! It must be the lack of sleep! I'm the only one who does paid classes at 'Palooza. She usually does the free classes we have throughout the day but I think Nikki Sivils, of Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker, and some of the girls on her design team are doing the free classes this time. :)

Ok thanks Allison. Remember I left questions for you in my comments on this post not the new one, I like the questions asked so far.
