halloween

Yesterday, as the sun was setting my two little boys transformed into two super mustache wearing brothers, Mario and Luigi. They were so cute!

Drew knew he wanted to be Mario long ago but Jackson was still very undecided on his costume. We were very surprised to see him go for Luigi at the costume store. Since Drew and Jackson often argue over who gets to be Mario when they play Mario Cart I thought the costumes they had picked could possibly turn ugly. We did have one minor upset that was quickly fixed with a "Well, I guess Drew can be Luigi..." Of course Jackson refused that so everything went back to normal.

My little Mario Brothers trick-or-treated their hearts out and by the time we were done neither of them could hardly walk. Partially because their legs were pooped but mostly because their bags were so full of loot. I'm sure a piece a day would last for at least two years. This morning I had to explain why we don't have candy for breakfast and I'm sure we'll go through the same ordeal at dinner time. It's a good thing they didn't see Mommy sneak a mini-Snickers in the laundry room...

:) Big grin!! The kids look soooo cute! Okay...fess up...did you attempt to get them to do the Mario Bros. jumps and use the sports mode on your camera???

How cute they are, love that they are both from the same theme. Lucky it worked out for you and they agreed on them.

I also sneak the little candy's in thru the day. They use to ask for it at breakfast too, now I let them pick out a piece and put it in their lunches. This goes on for the first week after Halloween then only on Friday's do they get a piece.
Thanks for sharing.

Honestly that's the best part of Halloween, sneaking the good stuff from your kids stash! Cute trick or treaters.

Doing the jumps would have been a great idea!! We were in such a rush that we barely had time to stop and take the two I posted! I just might have to con them into putting the costumes back on and doing a few jumps for me! lol! What a great idea! :)
